Who will clean my home?
Planet Maid’s offers a unique system; two uniformed, insured and trained staff will arrive at your home complete in company transport.
Are you a Cleaning Agency?
No … The beauty of using ‘Planet Maid’ is that all our staff are employed us. We collect and pay our maid’s tax and National Insurance contributions. We value our staff greatly; in return they have proper regular employment us.
Do I need to supply any cleaning products or equipment?
‘Planet Maid’ supply all that is required to carry out a professional cleaning job, including all cleaning materials, fresh cloths and two new Henry vacuum systems.
Do I have to do anything before the cleaning?
We ask that you take a few minutes before your scheduled cleaning to tidy. This will allow us to devote all our time to cleaning which will result in giving you the best value for your cleaning fee. We are here to assist you so do please contact us to discuss your individual preferences.
Can I leave my house keys with your office?
Yes you can … with confidence. All our clients’ keys are security coded for their safety and ours. The coded keys are kept separate from records of address and are only handed out and returned to our office on the day of your service.
How do I pay for the service?
Payment is made on the day of the service. Most customers find it convenient to set up a standing order or leave cash or a cheque made payable to ‘Planet Maid Ltd’ on the kitchen worktop.
At what time will Planet Maid clean my home?
Our service hours are normally 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
Unless a time slot is agreed prior to service, we are unable to give a specific time on a service day, but we do make every effort to meet customers preferences.
Do I have to sign a contract?
You are under no contractual obligation as payment is made at each visit. We would prefer to earn your ongoing custom based on our ability to meet your needs rather than based on a contractual relationship. We would however like four weeks clear notice to help re schedule our cleaning rotas if you no longer require our services.
What if something gets broken when my home is cleaned?
We will always treat your home with the greatest of care. However, should an accident or breakages occur while we are in your home, we will leave a note asking you to contact the office.
We will make every effort to have the item replaced if it cannot be repaired.
Do you have insurance?
Yes … Our insurance covers for breakages within your home as well as any accidents that may occur within your home to our staff. If you like we can send you a copy of our insurance certificate validating our cover.
Must I be at home when you clean?
It’s really your choice, we are very use to cleaning while our clients are away at work etc.
Many of ‘Planet Maid Ltd’ customers prefer to hand us a key. Alarm systems can either be left off or you can give us entry/exit codes. By far, the most efficient and problem-free way for everyone is for you to give us a key and alarm codes.
Will I always have the same team?
We make every effort to have the same team in your home once they become established. However, occasionally there may be the need for a change for example – illness or holiday cover.
What if I have pets?
We know that pets are treasured members of any home. We also know that having non-family members in their world can cause a certain amount of anxiety. For the safety and well being of our Maids and your pets, we ask that pets be kept in an area that will keep them happy and secure.
